An area to discover on two wheels
The Marennes area is extensivley marshland and is very flat. That makes easy riding for family outings where you can choose to follow quiet country roads through the sunflower fields or across the marshes.
Experienced riders also have the possibility to enjoy longer circuits with many points of interest.

The marshes around Marennes
Directly after leaving the campsite you can access the marslands around Sequoia Parc and Marennes. Country roads and tracks are quiet enough to ensure safety whilst riding. Head for Marennes where you can stop for refreshments before returning to the campsite.
La Coubre Forest
For te more adventurous head off in the direction of Tremblade and follow the road through the Coubre forest until the lighthouse at Coubre Point. The Palmyre Zoo is on your route back via Tremblade and is a great place to visit. This circuit is approximately 55 kms and fairly easy-going.
The Island of Oléron
For experienced riders in search of an interesting challenge you can attempt the round the Oleron Island route. Depending on which roads you take the circuit ias around 100 kms with many interesting places to stop and visit along the way.
Bicycle hire at Séquoia Parc
Bicycles can be rented for all the family at the infocentre. Staff here will also give you details of the many rides in the area.Rental rates:
Hybrids for adults: €12 per day
Mountain bikes for kids: €10 per day
Toddlers bikes: €8per day
Reduced rates are avaiable for rentals of one week or more. (Deposit of €100 per bike or €300 for 3 bikes or more, payable in advance by creditcard)

10h-12h et 17h-19h.
