From the Domaine de la Josephtrie to Castel Camping Sequoia Parc
The original farm
History has not yet uncovered all of the secrets of the Josephtrie domaine. Originally a farm, the chateau was built in 1852 and today it's architecture remains intact. The farm 'outbuildings' form a magnificent courtyard dominated by the imposing entrance porch.
The preservation of the buildings and the courtyard give the domain a very special and unique character.
Transformation : from farm to campsite
One day we discovered this magnificent domain and decided to give it a new life. After great efforts and alot of patience our dream became a reality and today Sequoia Parc has become a luxury campsite of international reknown.
The name 'Sequoia Parc' comes from the giant sequoia tree which dominated the chateau…but which is sadly no longer there. The choice of this name reflects our attachment to history and tradition.
